Pay Haryana Electricity Bills Online

Haryana is divided into two areas in electricity distribution.

  1. DHBVN – Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam, which covers districts in southern Haryana (e.g. Bhiwani, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Hisar, Narnaul, Mahendragarh, Palwal, Rewari and Sirsa)
  2. UHBVN – Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam, which covers Panchkula, Ambala, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Karnal, Panipat, Sonepat, Rohtak, Jhajjar and Jind districts.

We would cover each division here so that anyone can pay Haryana electricity bills online.

DHBVN (Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam)

Residents of Southern Haryana (Bhiwani, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Hisar, Narnaul, Sirsa and other cities which comes under DHBVN) can check their electricity bills, payment status online and can pay electricity bill online.

The process flow to make online payment of your electricity bills is as under :-

  1. Logon to DHBVN Online electricity bill payment website.
  2. Select Account number or K.No in account type field.
  3. Provide your account or K.No in next input field and click on Add button.
  4. If details are correct it would show you following bill details: Account No, Name, Address, Bill No, Bill Issue Date, Due Date, Net Amount, Surcharge, Gross Amount, Payable Amount. You can also view detailed bill here.
  5. Click on checkbox saying “Please update your Mobile Number and Email ID so as we can confirm Receipt of your Payment”
  6. Provide your mobile number and email address in respective fields.
  7. Click on Pay Now button and it would take you to billdesk payment gateway. There you can pay bill using debit cards (VISA, Master or Maestro debit cards), credit cards(American express, VISA or MasterCard), mobile wallet, cash cards (ICash card, Paycash, Oxigen Wallet and Vodafone M-Pesa) or using internet banking facility. 1% Charges on bill amount applicable on credit card/debit card/wallets/cash cards. Service tax at actuals applicable on charges.
  8. Note: Please View/Download the bill before Make Payment. After Make Payment, View Bill Feature is not available.

UHBVN (Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam)

UHBVN - Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam

Like DHBVN, UHBVN has also started accepting bill payments online. People living in Ambala, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Karnal, Panipat, Sonepat, Rohtak, Jhajjar and Jind districts will also be able to pay their electricity bills online.

    Hello Pankaj,

    I am a resident of Gurgaon sector.I am also facing the similar problem.
    I was trying checking my current bill in “http://epayment.dhbvn.org.in/” but it says “Your account is migrated to RAPDRP. Please login to RAPDRP”.

    But somehow it does not redirects me to any new page. When I tried with the few links mentioned above, either it asks me to put in 10 digit account number or when I registers to RAPDRP page, it asks me to register my K number which is showing as incorrect (I don’t know why).

    Please help me with this as it is really getting on my nerves. No prior information is given about this change. Nothing was shared regarding this and it changed overnight.

    Please note, I usually recieve my bill by 12th of every alternate month and it is still not sent to me this month. I do not know what is happening as delivery of bill is delayed and now DHBVN page is also not working fine.

    Please HELP!

      First of all, like you, I am also a resident of Gurgaon and in no capacity, associated with DHBVN. This blog post has been created to help people like us on a common platform.

      Are you sure that bill has been generated. If yes and if you have received the bill, can you check if it contains a new account number (to be used on new website)

    My Account No. is 0G27-CP11-4358. The newly generated bill does not reflect the “newly” assigned ten digit account number. The DHBVNL website for online payment directs me to the RAPDRP website. What do I do? I need to make a payment as soon as possible. Kindly help!

    Thanks for the wonderful help you are providing to us all.When I had moved to Gurgaon in 2011 , it was you who helped me pay my online bill and today again I need your help.I too am getting a message of “You are a RAPDRP customer”. The new website takes only the A/C number unlike eralier when it took the K No. too.From my bill I can see the 4th line as -CON Ac NO.I believe this is my A/C No. However when i put this no. for payment , it does not take.Please help

    Where will Faridabad residents pay bills online. Existing one is not supporting saying login to RAPDPR. What is the new site. We cant view our new bill also. Last paid is for May’2015. PLs help

    I am a resident of Sector 19, my account No. is DD18/2227 and K number is 2211041818. Subsequent to changes made by DHBVN i am getting message that you have been shifted to RAPDRP and I am unable to pay my bill online, as the account number is not being recognized by new site.

    If you are gettting the message that your account has been migrated to RAPDRP and have received the current bills,you can check your new account no using the old account no on DHBVN site.

    Logon to DHBVN.com
    Click on login my account
    On right hand side you can see — know your account number
    Feed your old no from bill

    I helped my colleauge in getting his new number as he did not receive his current bill although we live in same society. I received my bill two days back.
    If someone has not got the new bill kindly ask in your area.

    I spoke to customer care today. They say it’s a problem of website.they are getting multiple complaints like this. Asked me to pay it manually. On being asked specifically the time by which website wud b e functional they said it wud be working in two or three days….

    Hi,

    Looks like I got one step ahead. After it redirected to the new website, it asks for account number. There, you need to enter your K. No. It accepted it when I entered it but the further, it says that there is a technical problem on their side and please try after some time. Let’s wait to see how they resolve their issues.

    I received my first bill last month , and have unfortunately lost it . Is there a way I can register using my house addrress?

      As of now there is no way in website to find bill by address, you need to have account number or K.No.

      Due to their system migration, most of the people are unable to use online payment facility.
      Not sure when it would be completed.

    Dear All , ,

    please wait for 2/3 days your registered mobile no will receive the details .. there is no connection with old A/c no & the new no as in my case the A/c no is AA13-5279 for Faridabad Sec 30 .. and the message that my owner got says the A/c no as 5476930000 . Now I am able to log in to & register with my new mail id & mob no.. for registration you need the new bill no too. that the message will have in it.

    So until you get to know the new A/c no I suggest please wait or pay it manually this time.. My bill period id from 7th March to 7th July for 4 months :p

    can whatsapp me +91-8882958896 if you have any other trick to know as my owner is yet to get his bill details via message :p .

    It’s already been 2-3 days and site is still not working. Upon entering account number, it’s still giving error “Please enter account no in correct format.”. I hope the website starts working in as they promised Bobby.

    I’m glad I’m not the only one suffering from this problem. I also hope I would be able to make payment online without manual payment, even though I’m late.
    It will be great if they don’t charge late fee (and they should not coz it’s their website issue); but I care least about late fee. I just want to be able to make online payment anyhow. Let’s hope this starts working.

    By the way, Bobby, how did you contact customer care? I’m not in India. I need the actual number, not the local India toll-free number (1800-180-4334).
