Haryana is divided into two areas in electricity distribution.
- DHBVN – Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam, which covers districts in southern Haryana (e.g. Bhiwani, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Hisar, Narnaul, Mahendragarh, Palwal, Rewari and Sirsa)
- UHBVN – Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam, which covers Panchkula, Ambala, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Karnal, Panipat, Sonepat, Rohtak, Jhajjar and Jind districts.
We would cover each division here so that anyone can pay Haryana electricity bills online.
DHBVN (Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam)
Residents of Southern Haryana (Bhiwani, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Hisar, Narnaul, Sirsa and other cities which comes under DHBVN) can check their electricity bills, payment status online and can pay electricity bill online.
The process flow to make online payment of your electricity bills is as under :-
- Logon to DHBVN Online electricity bill payment website.
- Select Account number or K.No in account type field.
- Provide your account or K.No in next input field and click on Add button.
- If details are correct it would show you following bill details: Account No, Name, Address, Bill No, Bill Issue Date, Due Date, Net Amount, Surcharge, Gross Amount, Payable Amount. You can also view detailed bill here.
- Click on checkbox saying “Please update your Mobile Number and Email ID so as we can confirm Receipt of your Payment”
- Provide your mobile number and email address in respective fields.
- Click on Pay Now button and it would take you to billdesk payment gateway. There you can pay bill using debit cards (VISA, Master or Maestro debit cards), credit cards(American express, VISA or MasterCard), mobile wallet, cash cards (ICash card, Paycash, Oxigen Wallet and Vodafone M-Pesa) or using internet banking facility. 1% Charges on bill amount applicable on credit card/debit card/wallets/cash cards. Service tax at actuals applicable on charges.
- Note: Please View/Download the bill before Make Payment. After Make Payment, View Bill Feature is not available.

UHBVN (Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam)
Like DHBVN, UHBVN has also started accepting bill payments online. People living in Ambala, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Karnal, Panipat, Sonepat, Rohtak, Jhajjar and Jind districts will also be able to pay their electricity bills online.

K.NO would be printed on your electricity bill.
In case it does not exists on bill, your area still does not come under online bill payment facility.

I found the online portal is not working since long, probably more than 6 months.
Do you have any other link, where from we can make the payment. Secondly i tried to enter my K.V. No which shows invalid due to database error.

Sometimes due to some system issues, latest bills are not uploaded into system.
Can you try after 2-3 days. if its still not available you may have to pay bill offline only.

Please visit local electricity office for same.
where is k number or dtr number is written

K.No is written at top of bill against K.No field.
K.No are not available for all DHBVN customers, its only allotted in selected areas.
If its not mentioned, you can still pay using http://epayment.dhbvn.org.in/

Did you checked both sites (http://epayment.dhbvn.org.in/ and http://202.56.120.172/elpsoftmis/WebPages/ConsumerInfoStart.aspx)?
If yes and still not able to find current bill, Sometimes due to technical issues, bills are not uploaded on time, I would advise you to pay at electricity office to avoid late fees.

Dear Sir,
I paid today the current bill using online payment method, but it deducted the amount for my last bill which I have already paid earlier.
The new layout of your site does not show bills paid in the past.
My old bill amount was Rs 4329
Current bill amount is Rs 2320
It has deducted exactly Rs 4329 again.
I hope this will take care of my current bill and have not to be paid again. Please also let me know how the extra payment shall be adjusted.

Can you please check what “Previous Payments” and “Online payment details” shows on older website (http://202.56.120.172/elpsoftmis/WebPages/ConsumerInfoStart.aspx)
If an extra payment has been received, it would be adjusted in next bill.

There would also be a subdivision office code mentioned on bill (for example, for my area in Gurgaon its G26).
Your ledger code is DW1D and account no is 0198.
how I can view my old bills.

You can only view previous consumption in units under Previous Consumption section.

Sundry charges are misc charges. You will have to contact electricity office for its details.
Is rewari comes under online bill payment facility.
