DHBVN (Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam):
Residents of Southern Haryana (Bhiwani, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Hisar, Narnaul, Sirsa) can now check their electricity bills, payment status online and may now even pay electricity bill online (only available for Faridabad, Gurgaon and Hisar Town).
For now, you would not be able to pay your electricity bill through online due to some technical reason so For this time you can make your payment by cash or by cheque in your concerned sub division.
The process flow to make online payment of your Electricity Bills is as under :-
1. Log on to Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam website. Their website seems to be down. Please proceed to step 2 directly.
2. Click on link ‘On Line Payment and Bill Details‘
3. In left side block, under consumer information, Put Your K. No. (10 digit unique Identification No. which U can find out from your bill as DTR No. or K.No.) and submit. You may also use your Account no or Bill number.
4. Click on ‘Online payment‘ link (8th option at left side).
5. Click on ‘Make payment‘ button. Make sure Pop-up blocking is disabled for this site in your browser as payment page opens up in pop-up window only. How to disable pop-up blockers in your browser
6. Choose option viz Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Internet Banking etc. There is a extra charge in case you are paying through credit, debit or cash card. However there is no extra charge for payment through internet banking.
7. Choose Bank name (in case of Internet banking)
8. Do login in your bank account
9. Make payment
10. Take print out of receipt. remember U can take print out of receipt at any time after successful payment made through the system.
Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam customers (Sirsa, Fatehabad, Hisar, Bhiwani, Mahendragarh, Rewari, Gurgaon, Mewat, Palwal and Faridabad districts) can complain for electricity issues on 155333 and 18001801615
Also, you may lodge your grievance regarding billing or technical faults online (Click here). However, I am not sure whether those guys actually check them. I had lodged a complaint for incorrect billing but got no response even after 1 month.

Like DHBVN, UHBVN has also started accepting bill payments online. People in Ambala, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Karnal, Panipat, Sonepat, Rothay, Jhajjar and Jind districts will also be able to pay their electricity bills online.

2. Online Payment and Bill Details
3. Put Your K number (10 digit unique Identification number also referred to as DTR number) and submit
4. Select the second option “Current Bill”.

The issue is the last bill i paid in July is still showing as current.
I have received the new bill for July and August and i have to pay by 17th sept 2011.
Same new bill is not reflecting in account details. also, in online payment, no outstanding and new bill details are there, so not able to pay online.

In private developed colonies like Palam Vihar, we are being charged double on account of maintenance of Power Distribution system. The rayes of power consumption being the same as in Huda Sectors which includes maintenace of the power system whereas Private developers are charging us for power system maintenance separately. This anamoly needs to be looked into or otherwise DHBVN should take over maintenace fully and relieve us from being charged by Private developer .
I get to pay my elec bill on one computer but not on my other one. Nothing to do with Pop ups. What could it be
i am trying to pay bill online of sector-1 manesar having kon acc no:PC03-5223,and sub division code printed on bill is g31,but this code is not available in pop up list of office code…k no. or dtmr no is not mentioned in the bill….
I paid online K 2122010468 Rs 2226 thru OBC netbanking on 2 October 2011 at 1135 AM. Bank confirmed payment immediately thru SMS which I chrcked also. But It is still not shown on DHBVN site. When will I know?

I had submitt a file for name changing for the electricity subscriber before last three-four months, at your office Mathura Road with a receipt of cash memo still till date no action has been taken by the staff and what can do again for like this type mistakes.
please tell me or ask the staff.
All residents of Water Works, HUDA, Sector-22 are using/wasting free electricity as there are no electricity meters installed. Gallons of water runs through their taps regularly because nobody cares to stop the taps. All electronic items like heaters, geysers, water rods, press etc. runs whole day without care. The deptt. should pay attention to this and install meters for electricity and water to stop resources.
Sir please tell me weather I can pay my bill through credit cards if yes, then you will charge anything for this.

An additional charge of 1% plus service tax will be levied for Credit/Debit/Cash Card transactions.
For me it is still showing previous bill as current bill So not able to do payment .

It may take sometime for electricity department to upload bills. As there were few holidays in week, it may have been delayed further. I would advise you to wait for 1-2 more days.

Thank u sir. now am facing another problem. my pop up blocker is removed. but whenever am clicking on make payment option the page is showing me the profile information rather going to the payment direct.. i ve also tried by pressing the button ctrl+alt also
