EPF refund status

Now you can check your EPF refund status online, Click Here Remember to open it in Only in Internet Explorer.

In case, you are not happy with status of your withdrawal/refund application, you may contact EPF office. You may find address/phone number on this link: http://www.epfindia.com/epfo_directory.htm

If they also do not listen, launch a complaint on this website: http://epfigms.gov.in/

EPFO (Employees Provident Fund Organization) is now moving to electronic payment system. PF refund amount will now be credited directly into member’s bank account through NEFT (National Electronic Find Transfer).

Currently department issues cheque and post it to member’s address, the process takes up to a month and leads to a large number of complaints. EPFO will also collect the mobile numbers of the members so that it could send SMS alerts informing about credit of the pension amount.

      Please try to understand that this website is not operated by EPF department and we don’t have any control over your refund.
      We are just an individual like you and sharing information on website.

      In your case please contact PF department or raise your complaint at http://epfigms.gov.in/

    Do you have any idea how much time does it normally take for these people to reject our form in case if its incomplete?

    What happens we being truthful and do not sign the Non Employment Declaration part in form 19?

    sir my organization have own Pf trust .also sir they have Pf consultant to solve the problem pf related issue of employees. I have left this organization long before 3 year (2008)and I hv send withdrawal form through Register post during yr 2009.they also confirmed it through phone. After long waiting (8-9 month) I directly contact to superior officer via mail after too many conversion I got reply that we hv not receive ur form.
    Now I have send my form through Register post also I got confirmation of receipt frm Pf consultant also Settlement is under process.

    I Have received 02 SMS Please suggest me which one is correct Because CLAIM ID IS DIFFERENT

    FIRST SMS FORM 10C (Withdrawal Benefit / Scheme Certificate) For DSSHD 00069290000043052 received on 25/05/2011
    and claim ID DSSHD 11050004191 is under process

    SECOND SMS FORM 10C (Withdrawal Benefit / Scheme Certificate) For DSSHD 00069290000043052 received on 25/05/2011
    and claim ID DSSHD 11050004192 is under process

    and i called pf office nearly 60 to 70 times they are lifting the phone but they are disconnectiog or they keeping the recevier by side i am hearing all their voice
    Suggest me what to do

      Can you please cross-check whether Form 10C has been mentioned in both SMS.
      Generally two messages are sent, one for form 10C and other 19. (for Provident fund and pension fund)

          How much it will take to receive PF amount. It depends on EPF department.
          I have been waiting for my PF amount even after 4 months of application confirmation.
          What more can you expect from such a pathetic Govt department.

          • I get so much assurance on reading this post, I submitted my PF withdrawal form in Feb 2011, but still not received anything, checked my status on the link u provided, and found it is under process, but no mention about whats going on and what is the ETA on it. Then I lodged a complain with their online grievance management system, got a refernce number, and contact number of the officer, but cant reach them on mail or phone regardless of whatever time i make the call, finally wrote an email to CPFC, and i am in urgent need for that money, God help me!

              Unfortunately PF department is like other Govt departments who do not care for people and complaints.
              If possible, please visit PF office and request them to process it fast.

    I worked in a org for 4.6 year and left org in 2010 april. I submitted application for withdrawal of pf in jan 2011.
    will the amount receivd by me taxable ?

    I am Krishna. and I have a question.
    When the EPS amount will be credited to my saving bank account ?

    Today I got an SMS to my mobile with regards to my EPS (sms received from EPFO)

    Message – Form 10C (Withdrawal benifit / Scheme certificate) for acct THTHA000042400000XXXXXX recieved on 22.07.2011 and claim ID THTHA 11070001XXXX is under process.

      It will take minimum 20-25 days to get EPS refund. There is no maximum time limit in which EPF department provide refund, just like another irresponsible Govt department.

  20. When will I get my PF amount
    form is submitted on April 1,2011 and registered complaint on egov.

      Only option is to complain on epfigms.gov.in site.
      You will have to just wait may be for 3-4 months more as computerization of database is being done at all EPF offices and they are not taking other work in the name of that.
