  1. I tried to find out customer care nos for bill related issues of Krishna colony, gurgaon, When I got the number which is 9540954932 has not responded properly rather he said that he cannot tell anything and disconnected. When he is not capable enough to handle problems, then why his number is mentioned on web. You are requested to throw away such manpower from DHBVNL and improve your systems.

    Thanks & Regards,

  6. I am a resident of sector 40, gurgaon and have not received a bill for 3 months. Whenever one doesnot receive a bill or the bill has arrears added which you have already paid, you have to make a visit to the the office. Noone is ready to provide the same or atleast the bill amount and instructions over the phone so that you can avoid multiple visits to DBHVN office. Is there anyway one can see their bills online and pay the same online.

  7. Dear Pankaj,

As per the details given in the thread I tried to make the payment for my electricity bill for K.No: 2123028192 through ICICI Bank Net Banking, my account got debited but the payment doesnt reflect in the online payment section!!!

What shall I do? Have already written to Mr.Anil Bulian. This really discourages people to use the online facility.

    Regards,
    Gourango

  8. Dear Sir
Do you look into Faridabad DHBVN issues also, my k.no. 2221026838, there is no one in this premises due to a death in the family so the bill has come on the average basis, how can i get this bill rectified on the telecon as I am working and into a new job and can take a leave and run into these places

  9. Dear Mr Batra,
It would appear that your great service to the public (noted from comments above)is being complemented by DHBVN.
My wife and I are tenants of Mr & Mrs Rakesh Aggarwal [of NFL Panipat], in Suncity, Gurgaon.
We were horrified by a Rs.37,000.00 bill followed by a rupees eighty six thousand bill (compounding four months).
I went to the relevant office in Kanhaipur, Sector 45, with a representation.
The young SDO, Shri V Malik, was in office and gave a patient hearing to every one of us from the public.
I learnt later that this is his mehtod of operation, and from 9.30am to 1.30pm Mon – Fri, Shri Malik and his colleagues are available to the public.
They guided me through all the various steps needed for checking and rectifying such a large anomaly and ultimately issued the correct bill.
In all I made six separate visits, each for the conclusion of a part of the process.
and each quite complete and satisfying.
I do wish to place on record that the entire office has an atmoshphere of service, without being impractical or wasting time.
Shri Malik’s imprint is easy to see – provide information accurately; work on the case accordingly, preferably in front of the complainant; resolve the matter at the earliest.

I would be grateful if you could kindly (somehow) communicate this small note of appreciation to the Company and especially to Shri Malik and his colleagues.

    In thanking you,

    With every good wish,

    Yours sincerely,

    Kabir Kumar Mukerjee-Mustafi

  10. My apologies – but you seem really efficient with these matters. Would you be able to help with really huge/incorrect bills being received from a Society called Valley View?
If not – my apologies for wasting your time…

  11. 1. Please go to the net and do a check of your billing cycle and amounts so that you have a comparison of amounts spanning several months.
    2. Write an application/ covering letter – brief and to the point [itemised, so it is easy to read and refer to]. And stick to facts, not feelings.
    3. Attach photocopies of comparison chart, bills, receipt for new meter and any other relevant document.
    4. Ask for a check meter exercise in the covering letter first. [You have to purchase a new meter – costs about 4k, from outside the office gate]
    5. They will take the meter and your application with attachments.
    6. In course of time, an engineer will come by to instal the new meter and run it alongside the old.
    7. Perhaps 10 days later he will come again and show you the comparitive readings.
    8. He will make a note on your copies of documents and ask you to take the same to the office.
    9. If there is to be a change of meter, they will take of the old meter.
    10. They will adjust the bills accordingly.

    Good wishes,
    kkm
