Haryana is divided into two areas in electricity distribution.
- DHBVN – Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam, which covers districts in southern Haryana (e.g. Bhiwani, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Hisar, Narnaul, Mahendragarh, Palwal, Rewari and Sirsa)
- UHBVN – Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam, which covers Panchkula, Ambala, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Karnal, Panipat, Sonepat, Rohtak, Jhajjar and Jind districts.
We would cover each division here so that anyone can pay Haryana electricity bills online.
DHBVN (Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam)
Residents of Southern Haryana (Bhiwani, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Hisar, Narnaul, Sirsa and other cities which comes under DHBVN) can check their electricity bills, payment status online and can pay electricity bill online.
The process flow to make online payment of your electricity bills is as under :-
- Logon to DHBVN Online electricity bill payment website.
- Select Account number or K.No in account type field.
- Provide your account or K.No in next input field and click on Add button.
- If details are correct it would show you following bill details: Account No, Name, Address, Bill No, Bill Issue Date, Due Date, Net Amount, Surcharge, Gross Amount, Payable Amount. You can also view detailed bill here.
- Click on checkbox saying “Please update your Mobile Number and Email ID so as we can confirm Receipt of your Payment”
- Provide your mobile number and email address in respective fields.
- Click on Pay Now button and it would take you to billdesk payment gateway. There you can pay bill using debit cards (VISA, Master or Maestro debit cards), credit cards(American express, VISA or MasterCard), mobile wallet, cash cards (ICash card, Paycash, Oxigen Wallet and Vodafone M-Pesa) or using internet banking facility. 1% Charges on bill amount applicable on credit card/debit card/wallets/cash cards. Service tax at actuals applicable on charges.
- Note: Please View/Download the bill before Make Payment. After Make Payment, View Bill Feature is not available.

UHBVN (Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam)
Like DHBVN, UHBVN has also started accepting bill payments online. People living in Ambala, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Karnal, Panipat, Sonepat, Rohtak, Jhajjar and Jind districts will also be able to pay their electricity bills online.

I m not able to login to my a/c when I m feeding K.No. it is showing that invalid K.No. previously it was working

Most likely browser pop-blocker is creating issue in launching payment screen.
Please check that pop-up blocker is disabled (atleast for this website).

I am giving bill no to view my electricity bill. It gives me an error showing “INVALID CUSTOMER”. Same happens when I give K No. or some other details. Just to let you know earlier I was able to view the bill online and pay too.
Can you please help me in getting out of it?

Mine is working fine like earlier still.
Unfortunately, officials from electricity department have stopped responding to queries on this page.

The electricity bill for sector 40 gurgaon is not yet uploaded online. and I believe the due date is 7th of this month. Do you have any idea by when will it be uploaded?

We pay the electricity bill online but bill a/c is not credited. The amount is shown outstanding. The bank says that the transaction are right and credited to the party but dhbvn says that before 2 months they disconnect online system and payment is not received.What can I do?

I paid my bill this month only and its showing in their systems too. I am not sure what can be the issue with your account.
You should contact local electricity office for same.
HI , FIRSTLY I COULD NT FIND NEITHER K.NO/DTR NO. SECONDLY WHILE USING ACCOUNT NO OPTION I DONT KNW ABOUT LEDGER NO. AND OFFICE CODE; THIRDLY WHEN I ENTER BILL NO WHICH IS 4 DIGIT ITS SHOWING INVALID CONSUMER. I MUST SAY THIS GOV. CAN NEVER IMPROVE BCOZ THEY ARE SO BUSY IN MAKING FRAUDS. I M OVERSEAS AT THE MOMENT AND CANT PAY BILL..

hi, made an online payment on 19th June’12, was successful from the bank but showed failed (due to invalid bank response) on dhbvn site, made another payment of the same amount which was successful.
But the First payment has not been refunded to my account.
wrote an email with the transaction details but still nothing

Adding DHBVN as biller under online banking is not yet available with any bank.
You will have to pay bill through DHBVN website only.

I am putting 10 digit K. No. to log in but its showing invalid no. & when I am trying to log in with a/c no. then it recommend to put Ledger No. and I don’t know about it.

I am not sure what may be issue at your end. I am able to view bill with my K.No. on website.
I m also facing same problem. I used to pay bill online but now when I enter KNo., I get the message “Invalid KNo.” This is happening since last more than 3 months. I know of a friend of mine who is able to login with his KNo. but not me. This selective working/non-working of some KNos. is very strange.

I am also able to login with existing K.No and pay bills.
I am not sure whats happening with some of the accounts. One reason may be area-wise separation of accounts.
