I Believe:

The world is moving very fast, leaving millions of footsteps behind. Each footstep is a trench of knowledge. Get a few handfuls from each trench of knowledge and you will have wisdom. Now mould this wisdom; and you will witness Power.

Who I am:

‘Who I am’ is a function of ‘what I do’. So I am an entrepreneur, a programmer, an (anything except man) eater , an amateur photographer, a personal finance consultant, a traveler, and a blogger.

My Blog:

My blog is a pile of mud, accumulated from various ‘walks’ of life. I know you all run many marathons each day and I, again a function of what, try to ease your race with some handy information.
Here, you will find information on money and its management, tourist destinations and their plans, technology and its use, food and its source and answers to all your questions.  Even if you are not looking for anything particular, visit pankajbatra.com and you will find a lot of information to make your life easier and smoother… all this with a handful of mud from my bag!

  9. Hello Pankaj,

I have an ECR stamp on my passport. I am going for employment pupose to Germany and i am transiting through dubai when flying to germany and also during return to India. Should i get the ECNR stamp then?
my flight timings are say 4 hours apart…

    • @Madhu
ECNR won’t be required if you are just transiting through Dubai.
It would have been required if you would have been going to Dubai for employment/business purposes.

  13. Dear Sir,

I am just 22 years old. I am working in a manufacturing company. My salary is not a part of contribution of providend fund. I want to save a sum of money every month. I have read on PPF on your blog. The duration of year of deposit is 15 years? Is PPF is better for me or there are other ways to invest money?
    Please guide me..

    Regards
    Prasaad

    • @Prasaad
If you want to invest for long term and want safe returns and tax savings then PPF would be good choice.
If you can take some risk, mutual funds would be better investment in long term.
